  • Deliver genuine and tangible credentials for Nivea around football to accompany their sponsorship with the England football team. 

  • The central theme was to demonstrate that ‘Preparation is Everything’ when getting the best out of football and in life.



  • From strategy development through to celebrating the success of the Great Football Experiment, Sportsyndicator partnered with Nivea and Carat to show that ‘Preparation is Everything’.

  • From recruitment of the team via online channels and mechanics, to providing the writing talent and platforms online for continual engagement with the UK football audience during the Great Football Experiment, Sportsyndicator worked in partnership with Nivea over a 9 month period.



  • Over 700 full team applications from across UK amateur football teams.

  • 70,000 visitors to the bespoke Nivea site created especially by one of the UK's leading football fan portals, exclusive to Sportsyndicator, for continual two-way engagement with the team, the Great Football Experiment and Nivea throughout the campaign.

  • The team developed showed the desired development over the campaign.  They went from an average Essex league side to actually beating a team of England Legends to conclude the Experiment.

  • Nivea significantly built their credentials in UK football with a genuine campaign where they were supporting the grassroots level.  They really did show that with the right level of preparation, the stuff of dreams could be achieved.
